Dr. Tal Raviv is a fellowship-trained cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon. He is an internationally recognized leader in the field of refractive cataract surgery with over 16 years of experience. At his private NYC ophthalmology practice, Dr. Raviv uses the most advanced & minimally invasive cataract surgery techniques, using topical anesthesia for surgery with no stitches, no injections, no patches, and no physical restrictions after surgery. Dr. Raviv also specializes in high-risk and complex cataract surgery, and commonly accepts referrals from other ophthalmologists.
Dr. Raviv was one of the first NYC surgeons to perform femtosecond laser cataract surgery as well as ORA laser-guided intraoperative refraction for the most precise cataract outcomes available anywhere. He has extensive LASIK experience utilizing all-laser LASIK and the latest custom Wavefront technologies.
Dr. Raviv specializes in diagnosis and treatment of dry eye disease. The Eye Center of New York offers the absolute latest in dry eye diagnostics and treatments including: Meibography, Lipiview lipid layer thickness, MMP-9 Inflammadry diagnostics, Schirmer testing, Lipiflow MGD treatment, Blephex, punctal plugs, amniotic membrane grafts and more.
